Pearls are timeless, as they are the most common family heirloom. However, pearls require care for their true luster to last a lifetime. Pearls should always be the last to put on after hairspray, lotions & perfumes, make sure products have absorbs into the skin first. Remove before a shower, soap scum will damage or dull any material. Keep stored seperate from other jewels so they are not rubbed against each other. I will include a pouch with your necklace. Reknott your pearls when the cord has become stretched and worn. I use nylon for durability & flexibility, to extend this maintenance. Many fine gemstones and pearls are knotted so that if your necklace should break your precious beads are in tact. A preventative for loosing multiple beads that would have scattered on the floor. Usually once a year if you wear daily or every few years if you wear occasionally. I welcome questions.
